One of the UK's most renowned actors, Anna's career has spanned over two decades and extended from TV, to theatre and film. She has been the recipient of the National Television Award the Royal Television Society Award and The Drama Desk Award - and recently received an International Emmy for her astounding work on Marcella. Her recent work also includes ITV's Butterfly, BBC's Broken, and Steven Soderbergh's The Girlfriend Experience. Anna was one of the first people on this project, and was instrumental in making it happen, bringing her immense talent and astounding work to the film. This year, we will see her in Season 3 of Marcella, as well as ITV's Deep Water, and as Margery Booth in Peter Davies' Margery Booth: The Spy in the Eagle's Nest.
Russell Tovey is one of the UK's most beloved actors. His presence on our television has been constant, from his loveable roles on Him & Her and Gavin and Stacey; to his engaging and clever work on Being Human and DC Legend's of Tomorrow. In terms of film, Russell has appeared in the renowned The History Boys, the incredibly moving The Pass and the BAFTA winning Pride. Additionally, Russell has appeared in multiple stage productions, from Pinter at the Pinter to the National Theatre's Angels in America. We will see him in the much anticipated Years and Years in 2019.
David Elliott has had a varied and exciting career; appearing regularly on British television, such as BBC's Clique and recently BBC's The Cry and Sky's Bulletproof. In 2015, his film work won him a BAFTA for his incredibly moving performance in Kajaki (Kilo Two Bravo). David has also appeared in Outlander and in multiple stage shows including the award-winning Decky Does a Bronco. We are thrilled that he brought his incredible charisma to The Sea, after appearing in many prestigious shorts including The Inland Road, which premiered at the Berlin Film Festival in 2017. In 2019, we will see him direct Promenade, starring Mark Stanley and Selma Brook.
Rhoda is an incredibly poised and moving performer, who has appeared consistently on British TV in Coronation Street, Holby City, Doctors, Cold Feet and Silent Witness. We saw her in 2017's Tulip Fever starring Alicia Vikander, and in Trust Me starring Jodie Whittaker. In the coming year, she will appear in adventure comedy A Serial Killer's Guide to Life.
Megan is a Scottish actress, whose theatre work in New York included the lead in the premiere of Douglas Carter Beane's Fairycakes and in Forever 27 at the official selection for the Downtown Urban Theatre Festival. She has additionally performed in UK touring productions of Scrooge, Jesus Christ Superstar and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, as well as with the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain. Her commercial work includes the BBC and ITV Woman's Equality Party Election Broadcast, and on YouTube advertisement Hitch. Her last short film, The Girl in the Bubble, was shown at a screening at BAFTA for new filmmakers in 2017.
